Tours around the Dingle Peninsula
The Coach and Boat tours of the Dingle Peninsula give tourists the chance, in a relaxed manner, to see this 30 mile strip of land in all its magnificence. Pounded by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, the peninsula is a mixture of high cliffs, clean sandy beaches, many small villages and one town(Dingle). One of the most popular tours is a boat ride to see the Dingle Dophin, named Fungi by the local fisherman. He delights to frolic and leap around any boat that travels his way. The Slea Head tour takes you to the most westerly point of Europe, next stop America, via some of the most spectacular land and sea views in Ireland. There are two different tours to the Blasket Islands, one to visit the Islands, the other an eco tour with a chance to see Whales(Humpbacks, Minke, Fin - in season), Basking Sharkes, Dophins(Common, Bottlenose, Rissos), Grey Seals and Puffins.
